Steve Estrine is the founder and President of SAE & Associates. He has over thirty five years of experience as a high level administrator, strategic planner and program developer in mental health and substance abuse for the most vulnerable, at risk population across the life span. Dr. Estrine has held positions as Director of Adult Psychiatric Services of the New York State Office of Mental Health, Director of Public Sector Psychiatry at New York Presbyterian Hospital, and Director of Program Development at North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health Systems. Dr. Estrine’s primary interests, experience and successes are in programs addressing the needs of persons known to the criminal justice system, persons with co-occurring disorders of mental illness and substance use, persons or families who are homeless, veterans, and the application of Health literacy to the issue of improving access to health care for special needs populations. http://saeandassociates.com
